The CDS Balimaya hall hosts family gatherings, community activities and cultural events at 5690 Fullum Street. Write to us with your dates and we will confirm availability.

The hall, and what comes with it
From 50 to 350 seated guests banquet-style, and from 150 to 450 guests standing or cocktail-style.
- 20 six-foot tables (about 8 people each), 250 chairs and 6 rectangular buffet tables.
- Use of the hall and, where the package includes it, the warming kitchen: fridge, freezer, microwave and sink.
- A basic sound system with one wired microphone.
- Parking on the street and behind the building, first come, first served.
The maximum permitted seated capacity is 350 people.

How to book
Your request
Write to us with the date, the hours, the kind of event and the number of guests.
The visit
A free visit of the hall, by appointment.
The quote
We send you the contract and the deposit invoice.
The booking
The date is held once the contract is signed and the $500 deposit is paid.
Final payment
The balance is due 3 days before the event.
The day of the event
A CDS staff member is on site 30 minutes before your scheduled arrival.
After the event
We walk through the hall together, then the deposit is processed.
Hall rental
Security deposit and cancellation
- A $500 security deposit is required to confirm the booking. The date is only held once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.
- Any breakage or damage to the hall, the furniture or the equipment caused by the client or their guests is charged to the client and may be deducted from the deposit.
- The deposit is returned within an expected 5 days after the event when no damage or applicable charge is found.
- Cancellation fees apply.
